CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :

• Publication & Periodicals : - The  yearly publication `Deshbhushan ‘  gives encouragement to students to articles, short stories, one-act plays, poems, etc.  in Marathi, Hindi and English languages. Many students get awards for their writings at the university level. besides, the wall papers are published every month in different languages. College has achieved the tradition of Ranks at University level.
• Subject Forums : - Our College has developed subject forums since the formation of the College. Now we have different forums such as English Literary Association, Hindi Sahitya Mandal, Marathi Sahitya Mandal, History Study Circle, Geography Facility Center, Sociology Forum, Economics Forum, Entrepreneurship Development Programme etc. Different subject centre activities are carried out with the active participation of the students. The results of these activities are really encouraging.
• Study Circles : - The study circles in subjects of Marathi, Hindi, English, History, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Commerce, etc. are active in the College to execute different programmes for the concerned students. These study circles are also helpful to inculcate the leadership qualities among the students.
• Art Forum : - To give encouragement to the students having interest in music, drawing, painting, singing, dancing, embroidery, recipe, photography, etc.,   the College has established `Art Forum’ . The college will organize exhibitions  and practical camps for this purpose.
  
• Maitreen Vyaspeeth : -  `Maitreen Vyaspeeth’  is  a platform for the female students where they would express themselves and it works for the personality development of the female students. Various cultural pmrogrammes, health camps and other relevant activities are performed by `Maitreen Vyaspeeth’. This section is known as `Tejaswini Manch’  in the Education faculty.
• Cultural Activities Section : - Apart from the curricular guidance, the college organizes different cultural activities. The cultural section organizes speeches of distinguished people, interviews, annual social, `Deshbhushan Awards’ distribution function etc.  The distinguished personalities from various fields are invited in the college on such occasions.
• Participation in Various Competitions: - The present age is the age of competition and therefore   students are encouraged to take part in various competitions such as elocution, singing, dancing, one-act play,  antakshari, essay writing ,etc. Many  students win prizes  in such competitions every year.
• National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) : -
  There are two separate NCC Units in our College. The Boys; Unit is affiliated to 1 Maharashtra Artillery Battery and the Girls Unit is affiliated to 6 Maharashtra Girls Battalion.  The College  is always ahead regarding the performance  of the students in NCC examinations, camps and other adventurous activities. Our male as well as female students win NCC scholarships regularly.  Many of our students have got such scholarships. The cadets get opportunities in Republic Day  Parade. Many of our cadets have got jobs in Army and Police Department and some of them have become teachers.
• National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) : -
  
  The National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) is executed at Senior , Education , Junior and Open University levels on behalf of Human Resource Development Ministry of the Government of India. Social work such as assistance to flood affected people, tree plantation, AIDs awareness, voting awareness, etc.  is done by these sections. Special  camps are organized in rural areas so as to introduce students with the life and problems in rural India. The lessons of Community life are practically taught in such camps. National Integration Camps are also organized by this section. We are happy to state that our NSS  section has won several awards at the University and State level in the categories  such as Best College, Best Programme Officer and Best NSS Volunteer
